It’s that time of the year again, yay!! We are quickly coming up on the beginning of May in a couple days, and that means that the lilacs in New Hampshire will be blooming in a few short weeks. Besides smelling the most amazing, lilac flowers contain Vitamins A and C which help boost your immune system, and have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties as well. They can also give respiratory relief, and can help sooth and calm anxiety, making it a wonderful stress-relieving agent.
We will be making our annual NH Lilac Soaps for pre-order only. As an ethical and responsible forager, I only pick the lilacs needed for the soaps I am making, and will not be making extras, so please order now if you want any.
The 2026 blend will consist of a small layer of vegetable glycerin as well as Coconut Milk as a base, real NH lilac flowers, Lilac extract, Calendula, and Rosewood essential oil. The 4oz bars will be $12, and the 5oz body bars will be $15.
IMPORTANT INFO:
This is a pre-order only, and this $5 is the deposit for your soap order, and will be applied to your final balance when the soaps are completed and ready for shipping or pick-up. For example, you order (2) 5oz bars today for $10. When the soaps are ready, you will be invoiced for the remaining $20, plus any shipping fees.
This pre-order will remain open until the day before I harvest the flowers. once the listing is removed, ordering for this soap will be closed until next year.
Lilacs are usually blooming during the 3rd week of May, but that can vary slightly. I don’t control nature, and can’t give you an exact date, but know that I make these as soon as I possibly can, so please be patient. Your soap(s) should be ready for pick-up or shipping during the last week of May/beginning of June at the latest.
EVERYONE: If you are only paying your deposit for the NH Lilac Soaps, please click the ‘Local Pickup’ option in your shopping cart checkout, so that you do not pay for shipping today. You will be required to pay shipping on your final invoice when the soaps are ready. If you do pay for shipping during the pre-order, I will apply it to your final invoice.
If you are local and would like to pay your deposit in cash, please just choose that option in your Cart at checkout, and I will contact you with an address to drop your payment off.
If you are ordering other items while pre-ordering the lilac soaps that need to be shipped now, please use the shipping option. Sorry for the confusion and any inconvenience. Thanks for understanding.
