The sacral chakra (known as Swadhisthana in Sanskrit) is the second, and is associated with our emotions, passions and pleasures….our creative and sexual energy center. It is located in the lower abdomen, just below the naval, and just above the pubic bone, above the root chakra. It is associated with the color orange, the planet Jupiter, the element of Water, and the astrological signs of Cancer and Scorpio.
When it is over or underactive or blocked, it can interfere with the ability to enjoy life. You may lose your libido, have issues around intimacy and sex, have gynecological or fertility issues, lack of creativity and insight, emotional dissatisfaction, or have lingering relationship issues. You may also have feelings of guilt, be experiencing boredom, lack of fulfillment and joy, or suffer from mood swings.
Our Sacral Chakra Soap is made with a Coconut Milk base, and Calendula, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, Chamomile, Orange and Clary Sage Essential oils, and ground Damiana and Hibiscus flower. A bit refreshing, while keeping you grounded.
When your Sacral Chakra is open, you may experience shifts in your digestive system, as well as hormonal and reproductive shifts. You may have a stronger libido, and fertility issues may improve. Every day activities may seem more pleasurable, like eating and drinking, and you may find you want to go out, socialize and be creative.
