Throat Chakra I speak.
The throat chakra (known as Vishuddha in Sanskrit) is the fifth chakra, and also the first of the upper chakras, and serves as the entrance to the higher spiritual realm. It is the energy center of our speech and communication, and is linked to our morals and integrity, and allows us to hear the voice of our intuition. It is associated with turquoise blue, the element Ether, the planet Mercury, and the astrological signs Gemini and Virgo.
If your chakra is overactive, you may find yourself being judgmental or critical of others, talking loudly and over people, interrupting and dominating conversations, and not hearing your truth due to our loud voice, and therefore you are not hearing or living your truth. If it is underactive, you may be shy and stumble over words, and be feeling fearful of speaking your truth. Physically, you may experience speech impediments, sore throat or laryngitis, have sores in your mouth, hearing loss, throat & ear infections, neck pain, thyroid disorders and hormonal imbalances.
Our Throat Chakra soap is made with Calendula, Black Pepper and Cedarwood Essential oils, and ground Fennel, Coriander, and Slippery Elm powder.
When your Throat Chakra opens, you will find that words easily come to you, and you won’t be able to help saying what is on your mind. You may suddenly find yourself talking to strangers, or singing, when normally you would hold your tongue. Because this chakra also rules your ears, you will be able to hear and speak your truth.
