New Lip Balm Flavor, who ‘dis?
As the warmer weather leaves us here in the Northeast, we are temporarily saying goodbye to our Watermelon Lime lip balm blend. We only have a few tubes of it left, and have marked them down to $4 each. Grab one before they go on vacation!
We have replaced the blend with Hazelnut! Made with the same oil bases and beeswax, this blend has hazelnut and coffee oils, giving it a subtle hazelnut flavor that will not only protect your lips against the sun and elements, but will nourish and moisturize them as well.
Hazelnuts contain antioxidants, Vitamins E and B, minerals such as magnesium, copper and manganese; healthy fats, protein, and dietary fiber. They can help reduce inflammation, help skin repair and regenerate itself, can improve your skin tone, and have anti-aging properties.
And as always, our herbal lip balms also contain Zinc Oxide, which help protect your lips against the sun.

Hello, beloved Community!
We recently met up with Deb from Don’t Trash Dover & Dover Doers, as well as our friends at The Nook Breakfast & Lunch, The Brunch Club Dover, Ryan Levasseur, The Dover Area Women’s Club and others for a business trash pick up session around downtown Dover, NH. This is our 2nd time getting out into the community for this event, and it’s one of our favorite ways to volunteer some time, meet others, and help keep our community clean! We can’t wait for the next one in spring 2026!
Our Last Market of the Year…
…will be on Saturday, December 6th at the Center For Wildlife’s Holiday Bazaar and Maker’s Market Fundraising event. The market features close to 20 local vendors and small business owners set up throughout the Center from 11a – 3p. Each vendor donates 20% of our sales back to the Center, so it’s a really important day for not only the Center and their 2026 budget, but for all the amazing and wonderful Animal Ambassadors that calls the Center home, as well as the thousands of animals they will treat throughout the year.
Along with my contribution in sales, I will also be introducing a new 3D owl soap at the market. 100% of the proceeds of the owl soaps will be added to our Center For Wildlife donation, this season as well as throughout the year. More info, pics and an official announcement will be coming later in November, so stay tuned for that!

For those of you that are new to Sassy Skin & Soul Care, here’s a quick tidbit about us…and by us, I mean me. My name is Christy, the Herbal Alchemist and solo person behind it all. That means herbalist, product maker, website designer & maintenance, marketer, photographer, content creator, forager, bookkeeper, shipper, and whatever else comes up, I do it all.
I have been making soaps for over 25 years, and have spent the past 5 years growing Sassy from just offering soaps, to now having hair products. salves, tinctures, lip balms, cuticle creams, bug repellents. mineral salt soaks, mugwort cleansing bundles, chakra soaps, and facial serums, with more coming soon.
I work with alot of local plants, and forage for many of them here in New Hampshire and southern Maine. I also grow some of my ingredients, and the ones I do purchase are always done ethically and sustainably.
I never use synthetic processes, ingredients, or fragrance oils, and all of our packaging can either be thrown in the compost bin, or cleaned out, sanitized and reused.
I do have a certification in Sacred Gaian Herbalism, and love working with people to create custom blends for soaps, as well as tinctures and bitters. If there is any issue you are looking to address, or any allergies you may have, I would be more than happy to work with you to address your concerns. As we bring this newsletter to a close, we want to leave you with a few things to think about, keep in mind, and look out for.
We are working on a few new products that should be available by the beginning of the new year, if not sooner. We’ll have a couple new tea blends. including one for singers and smoker’s of all types, as well as a hand-soaking blend to help with tired, stressed hands. We will also have a new aromatherapy rollerball blend that I think you’re going to love, as well as our first herbal body powder that will be both talc and cornstarch-free! After that, hand sanitizer. Stay tuned for all that!
We hope you’ll keep us in mind for the holidays! We love putting together gift baskets, and can personalize them depending on your recipients. We can also make smaller versions of many of our products, if you are looking for teacher gifts, yankee swap gifts, hostess, bachelorette party & shower favors, bridesmaid gifts, etc. It’s as easy as knowing your budget and recipient, just hit me up and let me know who and what you are looking for, and I will take it from there!
