For the past few months, I have been studying up on our Chakras, and how they can affect not only our mental state, but our physical and emotional states as well, and how we can keep these ever-important energy discs spinning, allowing us to live our truest, best, most honest self.

It’s that time of year again, and the lilacs are out in full bloom here in New Hampshire, and smell as divine as always!
We are now taking pre-orders and deposit’s for our NH Lilac Soaps.
Each soap will be made with a Coconut milk and veggie glycerin base, and will contain Lilac and Tea Tree Essential oils, Calendula and Hemp Seed oils, ground oats, and fresh NH Lilac Petals.
Each $5 deposit is non-refundable, and will be credited to your soap order when it is completed. You will be invoiced for your remaining balance, and any shipping fees, before shipments will be sent.
These soaps are only made once a year, and I am only going to harvest the lilacs needed, so don’t sleep on these spring beauties!

After switching back to soap bars and leaving body wash (and all the plastic waste) in the dust, I often wondered why I wasn’t doing the same with my shampoo & conditioners, and decided to make the change.
It took a little time, and alot of research, to come up with a formula we were happy with, but we prevailed.
Introducing our Strengthening Shampoo & Conditioner Bars. When we formulated these bars, we wanted ingredients that would strengthen hair, promote new, healthy hair growth, and prolong our natural hair color, while keeping our hair hydrated, full and shiny.
Super easy to use, just wet the bar and your hands, working up a lather. You can either apply the shampoo & conditioner with your hands to your wet hair, or use the bars directly on your hair. Keep on for a moment, and rinse out.
The Shampoo bars actually act as a 2-in-1, and can be used for shaving as well!
Now, let’s talk about the plastic waste you will not be throwing in landfills! Each bar is super concentrated, and will save you 2-4 bottles per bar! Because store bought blends are mostly water, you will not need as much of these concentrated bars per use.
If you use both our Shampoo and Conditioner bars, you could be saving 12-15 bottles per year, from landfills! And, if you use the shampoo bars for shaving as well, you can count the shaving cream bottles you’re saving from the landfills as well.

You may have seen these beautiful purple flowers during the summer, or maybe at your favorite bar, in a new, pretty purple cocktail. But what are Butterfly Pea Flowers, and what can they do for your hair, skin, and health?
SO MUCH!!!
These flowers are ruled by Venus, and are connected to Water. They have attributes of love, emotion, serenity and protection, and symbolize the perfect attachment to the divine (as you can see by their Latin name, Clitoria ternatea, and their appearance).
Butterfly Pea Flowers also inhibits glycation, the main metabolic process that leads to aging & the wrinkling of skin.
It is also regarded as a brain tonic.
Butterfly Pea Flowers stimulate acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter that declines as we age, but is responsible for so much! It affects our muscle movement, sensation of pain, and learning and memory formation. It’s also involved in the regulation of our endocrine system, which affects our hormone balance and REM sleep).
Butterfly Pea Flowers also have phenolic compounds that have antioxidant properties that support liver health, and is anti-microbial, which reduces postprandial glucose levels, helping Diabetics and blood sugar imbalances.
These flowers are also rich in ternatins, which alleviate inflammation and help prevent cancer cell growth, They also contain a potent bioflavonoid called anthocyanin, which increases blood flow to the scalp, and helps promote healthy hair growth. It is also a natural darkening agent, and can help keep hair your natural color longer, or even darken it.

This amazingly-hardy plant is a burst of medicinal sunshine, and is also edible. Calendula not only helps skin retain moisture and stay hydrated, but it promotes cell repair and growth, making it a powerful vulnerary. The flower is also a powerful antiseptic and is anti-inflammatory.
